Who is permitted to register a heiCLOUD project?

All Institutes of Heidelberg University as well as all members of the DFN association. Reffer to Registration page for more information on this.

Can students also register a heiCLOUD project?

Personal projects are unfortunately not possible in heiCLOUD. Projects for students can be requested by members of a university institute as long as the costs for the project can be billed to an appropriate cost center.

Can multiple (potentially external) mandate administrators get access to the web interface / API?

Yes, the number of mandate administrators is not limited. Since mandate administrators can create resources with costs, this role can only be granted with permission from the cost center manager. This includes such cases as granting API access to employees of an external company.
